Pumps for Reverse Osmosis and Water Purification Systems.

The Danfoss APP pump is a positive displacement axial
piston pump designed specifically to pump low viscosity
and corrosive fluids at high pressure.
All wetted parts are in either duplex or superduplex
stainless steel (SAF2205 and SAF2507) and the pump
design is such that the internal lubrication is provided by
the fluid itself, such that no oil lubrication and routine
preventative maintenance is required.
The pumps have either five or nine pistons, depending
on pump size, and a specifically designed fixed valve
plate which results in very low noise and smooth flow
with insignificant pressure pulsations. Inlet and outlet
pulsation dampeners are not required.
The pumps are small and compact and are designed to
be driven at normal electric motor synchronous speeds.
The pumps are mounted direct to the motor via a
suitable bellhousing and coupling. No belts, drive pulleys
or tensioning systems are required.
The entire pump motor assembly is mounted by the
motor feet.
Pump volumetric efficiency is as high as 99% with the
overall efficiency exceeding 90%.
Pump flow is proportional to speed with minimal
variation due to changes in discharge pressure making
these pumps ideal for use with variable speed drives.
